The OBC cyclocross series begins September 27. Details here

http://www.cyclocross.org/

Cross is a fun way to maintain fitness into the fall. It
challenges fitness, bike handling skills and is fun to do.
Cross races are cheap to participate, one hour long and all the
races on the schedule are a 1 hour drive or less. A decent
cross bike can be purchased for $1K. Some people use mtb's and
you may even be able to use an old roadbike if you can put
bigger tires on it.

Thanks to Roy for setting up one of the races in our own
backyard (Memorial Center). Nothing like being able to ride to a
race!

Next week (night TBD), we can begin doing cross ride how-to's
(by cross master Baz) and fun/training loops at the Memorial
center.

A few of us meeting at Memorial Hill Thursday for a cross ride
and to discuss matters regarding the OBC series Brockville
Cyclocross race.

6:00 ish meeting time. Come early or late, we will be there.
Loops are short. If you don't have a cross bike, use an mtb, or
even try a road bike if you want.
